Headspace turned guided meditation into a mainstream subscription app, with mental-health coaching and sleep content folded in since. Its round-headed characters and sunrise palette made calm itself into a recognizable visual brand.

What hooked us
Mental-health software with the visual temperature of a picture book: blobby characters, generous curves, oranges and creams warmed to just shy of drowsy. The craft is in what’s absent — hard edges, urgent red, anything that could read as clinical or alarming — so the interface itself performs the product’s promise before a single session plays. Plenty of wellness brands borrow the soft-blob look now; the original still lands because the system runs deep, from illustration to easing curves to copy that never raises its voice.
